Got a nagging problem that you don't know how to solve? "Bounce" it off your colleagues. Want to share great ideas happening at your installation? This is your place to shine. Need a good resource for a particular issue? Ask and ye might receive. The forum is a place where you can seek advice from other providers, share successful ideas for working with children and families, compare notes about how installations handle various procedures, ask questions about policy, and give Army CYS suggestions for how to make the FCC Program better. And you know what the BEST part of this Forum is??? Your FCC Director is not on it! Oh sure, there are DA and Region participants on this Forum. And from time to time, CFSC may post items of interest for all of you to comment on or CFSC might "step in" to provide clarification on "what we MEANT to say." But for the purposes of this Forum, DA and Region staff and FCC Providers are ALL COLLEAGUES, equal participants in this Forum. We are ALL part of Army Child, Youth & School Services and each of us can contribute to and learn from each other, no matter where or at what level we work. By the way - although this Forum is MEANT for you to discuss problems you might be having (in the hopes that one or more of your colleagues has "been there, done that,") we do expect you to also discuss these issues with your FCC Director and Chain of Command.
